The Venue
Nestled in the peaceful Essex countryside, Creeksea Place Barns is a beautifully converted farmstead that blends rustic character with modern comfort. Exposed oak beams, vaulted ceilings, and warm, stylish interiors create a setting that feels both grounding and quietly luxurious.
Set near the picturesque town of Burnham-on-Crouch, the barns sit within open farmland close to the River Crouch estuary — a landscape of wide skies, quiet marshes, and bracing coastal air. It's the kind of place that invites you to exhale and settle the moment you arrive.
Facilities include a dedicated yoga space, fully-equipped gym, hot tub, red light therapy room, and an on-site treatment room (available by prior booking), along with spacious communal areas for gathering and a cosy café on site.
Where We'll Practice
Our yoga sessions will take place in one of the most magical rooms you'll ever step into — a beautifully restored barn with hundreds of handcrafted birds soaring across the vaulted ceiling, bathed in the warm glow of fairy lights.
It's atmospheric, uplifting, and deeply grounding all at once — the perfect container for movement, stillness, and everything in between.

Your Hosts
Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher & Retreat Host
Cris is a Hatha Vinyasa yoga teacher with a genuine love of movement — from flowing yoga and breathwork to strength and mantra. She teaches at venues including David Lloyd and Martlesham Leisure Centre, and leads regular kirtan sessions.
Before dedicating herself fully to yoga and wellbeing, Cris spent over a decade in fast-paced corporate environments — experience that deeply informs her understanding of stress, balance, and the need for genuine rest. A mum of two, she brings warmth, authenticity, and a grounding Brazilian spirit to every retreat she holds.
Yoga Teacher, Qigong Practitioner, Dance Meditation Facilitator & Retreat Host
Liana's yoga journey began in Brazil in 1997, emerging as a sanctuary from a demanding career in media. Drawing on Ashtanga, Iyengar, and Hatha traditions, she has guided students through all of life's seasons — including her own transformative experience navigating peri-menopause and chronic health challenges.
Now based in Essex, Liana brings a rich, multi-dimensional approach to wellbeing: she is a qualified Flow Dance Meditation facilitator, a student of Qigong, and a practitioner of Reiki and Sound Therapy. Every session is an invitation to move, breathe, and find harmony.
